ECF Farmsystems is a flexible urban farming organization that plan and construct ‘turnkey’ aquaponic farming systems. Located in Berlin Schöneberg, ECF have recreated a traditionally rural environment in one of the most densely populated cities in Europe. ECF’s proximity to Berlin’s retailers, alongside its innovative recirculation production systems, ensure an environmentally conscious supply chain from start to finish.
But maintaining a clear vision of a living ecosystem requires enormous amounts of data, which at the ECF farm in Berlin, is all uploaded and stored on Dropbox. This allows CEO and Founder Nicolas Leschke, to respond on a day-to-day basis to the minor details at the site in Berlin while also staying informed about the other farms they have installed for clients across Europe. An added bonus for Leschke is that with Dropbox on his phone, even when he is not on site, he is never out of the loop.
