BSC Young Boys partners with Dropbox to accelerate the club’s digital strategy

SAN FRANCISCO / BERN – July 2, 2024 – Today, Dropbox has announced a partnership with BSC Young Boys for the upcoming 2024/2025 season. The partnership marks Dropbox’s first of its kind in Switzerland, and aims to help the club to collaborate, share content, and save time.

Through the partnership, BSC Young Boys will continue to rely on Dropbox for its fast and secure syncing and sharing capabilities - in addition to its eSignature and document analytics solutions, to manage vast amounts of content, contracts and data.

In a fast paced industry, these teams are required to collaborate at speed, across multiple locations. To do this, BSC Young Boys has relied on Dropbox to digitalise their business processes, including contract signings. "We use Dropbox Sign across various departments for the quick and efficient signing of different contract documents,” shares Sebastian Helbig, Head of Sponsoring at BSC Young Boys. The ability to sign contracts, regardless of location or timezones, saves us precious time and enables us to meet high pressure deadlines in a fast-changing industry”.

As part of this latest partnership, Dropbox’s suite of tools will be increasingly deployed across the club. "We are currently integrating DocSend to provide us with better insights and analytics on the sharing of files,” explains Reto Steffen, Chief Digital Officer at BSC Young Boys. Using DocSend, the club will be able to gather valuable information on how people are engaging with securely shared documents. “The ability to track when someone opens a file, and where they spend most of their time, will enable us to take a more data driven approach with sponsors and our acquisition activities" .

Andrea Trapp, Vice President of Business International at Dropbox, shares, “The sports industry is key for us, and Dropbox is proud to partner with BSC Young Boys, a club with great history and proven success. Through this partnership, we’re demonstrating that Dropbox is much more than cloud storage and we’re excited to see our products play an increasing role in developing and delivering engaging fan content.”
